How Word Hunt works
Word Hunt is a timed letter-grid game. Each word is formed by following a continuous path through touching tiles. You can move in any of the eight surrounding directions, but a tile can only be used once in a word. Valid words are checked against the site's English word list.
Scan the board
Look for unusual letters and likely word beginnings. A promising first letter can lead to several different paths.
Extend your path
Build a word one neighbouring tile at a time. Use Undo to step back or Clear to start over.
Chase your best score
Longer words are worth more points. Try to find a mix of quick short words and harder long ones.
